FileMaker and MINDBODY Integration

We’ve recently been working on integrating a customer’s FileMaker solution with MINDBODY,  the popular business management software for the health and wellness industries. Our customer was using FileMaker to manage their internal CRM (Patient management, appointments, purchases) but had also started using MINDBODY for online class management. This allows patients to manage their own class bookings via the MINDBODY website or mobile app.

The challenge was then to integrate the two solutions to reduce any unnecessary double data entry. Fortunately MINDBODY has a developer API that we could access, and after a bit of trial and error we were able to use the MINDBODY API to allow us to push Patient data from their FileMaker CRM and download Patient class history/purchases so their internal FileMaker database is up-to-date. This has saved the customer significant time, money and hassle by automating the exchange of data between FileMaker and MINDBODY.
