Data Manager is a Customer Relationship Management software (CRM) that lets you track your Contacts in one central location and communicate via email, SMS and mail merge letters all at the click of a few buttons. We've been hard at work on a number of interesting projects recently for a diverse range of clients and solutions including:
- ID Card System: we were engaged to create a FileMaker solution that allowed staff a club to take photos of club members with an attached web cam and then print ID cards directly from the FileMaker system
- FileMaker Web Interface: we've built a number of web interfaces to FileMaker systems recently, including using the built in Instant Web Publishing and also the more advanced PHP custom web publishing using FileMaker Server 9. We've also helped a number of clients upgrade from FileMaker Pro v5/6 using the old CDML technology to FileMaker Pro 9 and PHP
- SMS Integration: we've been integrating FileMaker into SMS Gateways for over 6 years and we love adding this feature to customers databases so they can send SMS Messages directly from FileMaker to one or more contacts at the click of a button
- FileMaker Website Integration: we also worked on a number of challenging projects that have involved the integration of FileMaker with customers web sites. We have also created some internal systems that let us view databases on our website so we can see from within FileMaker all the contact requests and trial requests we receive so we don't have to re-enter that data into FileMaker

If you're new to FileMaker or want to learn a bit more about it's features there's some great short training videos on the FileMaker website. These help explain the use of a particular feature of FileMaker Pro 9, such as the Save as PDF and finding and sorting records. Don't forget the built-in help that you can access via the Help menu in FileMaker Pro also has lots of useful information that can assist you with getting the most out of your investment in FileMaker Pro.
There's also a series of extended webinars that usually run for around 60 minutes that you can view online or download and watch offline.
